I always thought the stories surrounding the production of the film were creepier than the movie itself.

A lot of new age, crystal worshiping hippies have taken a deep dive into Q Anon/Maga. In California, they’ve been showing up at school board meetings so there is some form of consequences from it. It’s just weird to see them team up with the malevolent Alex Jones/Maga crowd.

Does anybody like this show? I was thinking about getting Apple TV just for this but now I’m not so sure.

I will always appreciate the VHS series for giving us Safe Haven. So awesome. 

I find it incredible that of all the Ryan Murphy shows, the one about the OJ trial was the best.

One of the myriad of problems with the invasion was that for most Afghans their lives didn’t change at all and, in many cases, became worse because of the brutality and corruption of the warlords the US was allied with.

The biggest danger this country faces is white people who would rather burn society to the ground than give up a tiny sliver of privilege.

God, I wish the 10 year old version of The AV Club still existed.

Every time the first season comes up I think about what a missed opportunity it was to go full Cthulhu instead of just teasing us with the Yellow King and going with the cliched cop show ending. It could have been a genre masterpiece.

I’ve lived in the south most of my life but most of my family lives in upstate Michigan so I visit every year. It’s the most racist place I’ve ever been. Loud, obnoxious, Confederate flag waving, Trump supporting racists. 

I know. When I saw her name I just assumed she said something stupid and awful. 

While I share some of your optimism, what’s going on with the post office, Bill Barr and the feds/cops/armed militia alliance scares the shit out of me.
