Greatest fears coming to fruition? Black people are still second class citizens. Abortion rights are all but eliminated. LGBTQ rights are next on the chopping block. And his kind don’t even have to bother couching their bigotry in ‘acceptable’ rhetoric anymore, they can spew their hatred without any fear of

I work in abortion care. I hate that this is all happening. I both agree and disagree with Christina. We can do both — we can fundraise, donate to clinics and abortion funds to keep access going. We can also be out on the streets, pissed as all hell, showing our righteous anger, demanding that our rights be codified

His kind is a filthy, disgusting, subhuman relic. Their hate is born of fear and their greatest fears are coming to fruition right before their eyes. The contempt he holds for others is a cancer he carries inside and he can’t shake it off.

So, one comment up there with 8 likes, and this one here with 9...you are up to 10 profiles right now, huh?

Do you need a snickers?

Dude got lazy but also... like legitimately scared? He gives off the vibe of, “I am uncomfortable with how fast the world seems to be changing and I’m doing my best to keep certain groups in their place until I can get back to a world I understand,” and he’s doing all that’s in his power to do so.

Dude got lazy, and it shows.

Right??? Who the fuck is ungreying these? I don’t dare ungrey ANYTHING anymore without checking the account and previous comments to make sure they’re legit and not just a troll/tomato/etc.

This. I mean, despite what the subtitle says Chappelle didn’t build his career on transphobia (not that I remember him being actively supportive) — he built it on being a good comedian with particular skill in dunking on racism. He’s rebuilding his career on transphobia, which is disappointing to say the least. He’s

Any chance that hateful losers like “kyle james” here could be shown the door? I don’t know what mental illness compels him to spend time here, but perhaps he should be encouraged to go play outside.

I used to really like Chappelle. He used comedy to mock bigotry and intolerance. Now he’s an intolerant bigot, and he’s just not funny.

*Lots* of critics at the time couldn't figure out why the Predator was Predator-ing. Predator 2 ended up really having to spell it out.

Seconding this. And I will say, that even when he didn’t like something on which I disagreed, it was always interesting reading his review. (Best example was his pan of Wet Hot American Summer, which he wrote in the style of “Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah.”

Ebert as a TV “thumbs up/thumbs down” guy maybe wasn’t that great and I often disagreed with him (but not as much as with Siskel who comically hated nearly every genre movie but loved even the most pretentious art film). But Ebert’s written reviews (for which he rightfully won a Pulitzer) were excellent and still

Carlin was a multifaceted genius, and in some ways, an unrecognized poet. His monologues always had an amazing flow and rhythm to them. Also funny as fuck. I am really glad we have so much of his material recorded to enjoy (thank you HBO, this doesn’t make up for satellite tv scrambling, but it helps) but in the

Sometimes simple is best:

After spending his entire career telling people the goddamn future and nevertheless having to watch them all go merrily skipping into the abyss anyway, he’d earned every inch of that nihilism. He’d earned it ten times over, and I’ll never think less of him for being so bitter near the end of his life. He was decades

His entire political platform is “avenge my failure, kill my enemies”, rather than, you know, actual political ideas and a platform of constructive goals to improve the lives of his constituency. It’s like he doesn’t even know what job he’s applying for.

They really needed to spend some time looking at female powerlifters and not bikini/figure competitors. Girl got tiny legs. should be strapping like Meg:
