While I long for the end of social distancing, I’m good with handshakes going away forever. I’ve seen how well many coworkers wash their hands in the bathroom at work, and I didn’t like handshakes before all of this. Japanese culture got it right with bowing.

The one bright side is that seats will not be as close together. I don’t mind this at a more social restaurant, but a few times on a nice date night out with my wife we have been seated so close to our neighbors it was like we were all sharing a table.
