I secretly enjoyed my ‘09 Accent hatch. 5 speed. It actually handled pretty decent with some ok tires. And it avg’d 28.5mpg as I seemed to redline it everywhere.

I learned how to drive stick on an ‘81 Accord hatch. I loved that car. Paid $600 for it in ‘91. My friend blew the clutch on it the 1st day I had it registered even though I told him to leave the car at his house.

I was in Dallas for a Miatas Only Track Day at MSR back in 2000. About 15 of us went to Hooter’s for dinner. As we park, some doofus in a big Ram pickup truck - from the other side of the lot, of course, yelled “Miatas are for fags”. Of course we all were like “Why don’t you come over here and say that” but he split.
