Bad ending? Tragic, yes. But tragedy is a wonderful part of storytelling. Some game designers make multiple endings, with a clear idea that one is “best”, but I don’t think The Witcher does this...

I picked Yen, she and Geralt live in a cabin somewhere now, and Ciri is off doing her thing as a Witcher.
