While some camps made a weak effort to conceal their murderous operations, Sobibor was clearly a death camp: prisoners were often taken straight from the trains to the gas chambers. After an uprising in October 1943, Nazis destroyed the camp and attempted to eradicate all evidence of the killings. But researchers have

I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here. It sounds like Tilda was up front about the issues, expressed her desire to do something about it and sought advice from someone who is in a good position to provide it. And Cho’s responses were thoughtful and measured as well. Not sure what got lost

Tea Kettle... Tea kettle?

This is far more superb than you’ll get praise for.

“This one tells us that kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome and bestiality are all just fine, as long as the girl finds love in the end.”

Same. It crossed a line with me and it felt cheap. That sounds weird because I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan, but GoT is GOING SOMEWHERE WITH ITS PLOT.

I can handle some gore when its called for-like in GoT often-but this was just gratuitous. We get it, he’s bashing in heads. Showing every hit and that sickening sound was just for shock value, and not the good kind.

I once watched an entire moving wondering what was so off about Jeffrey Dean Morgan, only to find it was this dude. I may have been pretty high at the time too. Maybe.

I think I’m the only person who was more upset about poor Abraham. I loved him! And the peace sign to Sasha?! This was such a savage episode, but I knew it was Glenn’s time to go. They’ve teased us with it like three times before.

Dusty Rose sounds like a lipstick shade.

I always love the whole “I’ve dealt with/heard/experienced so much worse” like that makes any of this acceptable. Get off your dumbass high horse you poor little had-it-worse-than-everybody-else-so-look-at-me snowflake.

As someone who swears constantly and doesnt understand why shit is still a swear word in 2016, this was past my line. Its Trying Too Hard along the lines of the stuff kids say to sound Edgy and Cool.

Yep. I don’t have any particular problem with “it’s debate, not masturbate” (provided that was aimed at the whole class and not any particular students) or calling coffee a “fucking thing.” Coffee’s feelings are not going to get hurt, and everyone in the classroom has heard the word “fuck” before. But insulting

So your boss says this type of stuff to you in front of the whole office, you’re cool with it?

Calling a kid a pedophile and saying a someone is dressed like a “frumpy old lady” doesn’t seem bad to you?

No, my point is that’s not funny. That would fall under “going personal”. Along with insulting a girl’s appearance and calling a kid out for ogling her daughter’s butt and many of the other things on the list.

An ex of mine was (is? he may still be, dunno) an adjunct and he got a lot of negative feedback about his sense of humor - he was really sarcastic and kids thought he was making fun of them. I pointed out that a lot of his students were the first in their families to go to college so, you know, maybe try not to sour

As a parent myself and the child of someone who taught teenagers for 35 years, I can atest that kids are often difficult to terrible. However, I’d say this awful dipshit should be stripped of her teachers license immediately. She clearly lacks the temperament to deal with humans in general, much less kids.

Sorry, this teacher isn’t cool and this topic isn’t funny. I’ve taught college for 15 years, and I wouldn’t say this to 18 year olds, much less 10th graders. You’re in an immense position of power as a teacher. It’s really important not to mock your students. I had one teacher in HS who consistently made fun of
