Yeah I'm rooting for this movie and the people involved because it took so much to get it made. Ryan Reynolds has been so instrumental in that process and is so invested in the movie and the character, that rooting for Deadpool is rooting for Reynolds.

Yeah, rooting for the guys who actually got this movie made is definitely rooting for the underdog and for fans who want not just to get it done but do it right.

Samies. Also I think the reason why people are “rooting”for him is that he and the writers were working or trying to get this movie done for what 10 years.. and only after leaked footage did they really get the green light from the studio.

For the majority of us who have been anticipating this film forever, we do not root for Ryan Reynolds, per se. We root for Deadpool, and accept Reynolds as a great choice for the character we know. And the movie looks VERY good, from a fan perspective.

I’ve just come home from having seen it, the movie *is* fucking hilarious, it gets my stamp of approval.

I’m going to see it a) because it looks fun and b) to spite the dude who tried to tell me years ago that “Deadpool would never get his own movie because blah blah studio rights blah.”

I could take or leave Ryan Reynolds, but I do really like Deadpool and I appreciate that he seems to love the character as well.

Collective opinion doesn’t matter in respect to a movie that was only green-lit because of collective opinion? Well, I suppose.

The only other films that he’s been in which I’ve seen are “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,” “Blade: Trinity,” and “Wolverine: Origins.” I am also a great fan of Deadpool, having read every

If you don’t like him or his movies why not write an article about something you do like? Fans aren’t going to care and those that hate him aren’t going to see it anyway. Either you like him or you don’t.

:(

To each their own. I like the idea of a super hero that’s in on the joke.

You forget...people aren’t going to this film to see Ryan Reynolds. They’re going because GODDAMN DEADPOOL MOVIE. And they’re hoping it makes up for how Deadpool was mishandled in the 2009 Wolverine flick.

So, like what, you don’t wanna watch it? OK that’s cool.

How about because the movie looks like it might be fun?

I’m sorry but FUCK YO DAD!!!

My job is to evaluate scientific studies that involve between thousands and hundreds of thousands of independent samples. This leads to much eye-rolling at almost every medical study ever.

That would be my guess. Yeah, that stuff is important, but you know what else is important? The breastmilk that comes out in the first 24 hours of life, if you’re able to breastfeed, because it is full of all of the good stuff that will help set up your newborn’s gut flora. So is holding your baby, interacting with

18 seems like a really, really small sample size.

I feel nothing but utter excitement for this film. Ryan Reynolds is so genuinely invested into this character, its wonderful to see someone enjoying something so much. I think comic book movies lately are suffering from being over-bloated. Age of Ultron is the PERFECT example. Deadpool seems rather basic, old school,

Right? Like in that car commercial where every man they drive past is Ryan Reynolds, I keep expecting him to show up as Deadpool in it.
