They've said that the next X-Men movie is going to finally go into space, so I'm guessing that means we're getting the Sh'iar and possibly even some Starjammers in the mix.

I thought she was ok, as was teenage Cyclops (who finally had a personality!). She had a cool 80's look and her accent wasn't as shaky as we feared from the trailers. \

There have been interviews with the screenwriter where he defended the character turn, saying that he was always intended to be a noble guy with a code of honor who was just seeking justice for his brother.

It's more like 5 years, thanks to the reboot.

The Hobgoblin stuff is weaved throughout his run as a recurring plotline, and is definitely the best part of it. Don't worry, there's more to come!

To be fair, Spencer was clearly blindsided by the election like many of us were. The reception to this story may have been very different if that one day had turned out differently, but here we are, with many doubling down on their hate because now is when people need their symbol of hope.

The best thing about his TV job is that it keeps him away from writing more horrible comics. It finally freed up Ed McGuinness to draw a book that I don't feel guilty about buying!

Doctor Strange And Doctor Doom: Triumph And Torment - Read this classic story after it was added to MU months ago. It holds up really well, and I was surprised I had never got around to it because it is truly an essential Dr. Doom story. It adds a lot of detail to all the magic-related Dr. Doom plots I've read over

I looked this up on wikipedia out of curiosity because I never heard of this before. You're right but his name was actually David Angell.

Right, books like Cap, ASM, and even Uncanny Avengers are basically all continuing series despite the relaunches.

Yet another well-regarded Marvel title that's reaching its end. The recent cancellations of the Nova and Star-Lord titles came way too swiftly, which was especially disappointing because both of them were significantly better than the runs that preceded their relaunches.

The R4 can play other games besides DS ones? Hm tell me more…

I already started chuckling once Dean reached into the mysterious lunch box and pulled out a half-eaten sandwich. The music drop was went I hit full on laughing out loud.

That was a nice "twist" with Reta actually sounding like a reasonable and sweet person once we got to hear her perspective, but she also had to throw in the slightly sinister "They should have just cut off his nipple!" comment to make you suspect her motivations again.

I remember stopping my progress immediately and then hitting Google to see if there was a way to save Carly, assuming her death stemmed from some stupid mistake I made. I quickly discovered that it was a fixed outcome, like you said, and it really drained the impact from the storytelling for me.

I like him as a writer and occasionally love his books, but he just gets into knockout fights with the fans way too frequently, sometimes commenting late into the AM because the fights go nowhere and he doesn't want to back down. He feels too much like a company man these days, constantly sticking up for the top brass

Ultimate Otto was a much better modernized take than that random slicked-back hair version they updated around the time of the movie.

I liked that JMS set up the high school teaching job but he very quickly forgot about it and didn't do much with the setting, which is a shame. I think PAD did better work with the job over in the Friendly Neighborhood book, but that title was hampered by crossovers for most of its run.

Ughh God Damn it nooooo!

There's a reason why every Osborn story has been played up like a capital B Big Deal since his return in the 90's though. Ock always seemed to have his #2 status by comparison any time they were both active at the same time.
