It's because her previous life goal did not work out.

These characters would make PERFECT cannon fodder! Geoff Johns is really disappointed he's on the other side of Hollywood.

At this point, Marvel's probably better off keeping their TV and movie properties separate. The movies are overstuffed with cast members as it is, I really don't need Daredevil or Jessica Jones to join the 9,000 characters already featured in Infinity War.

Minutemen is a real quality work that's somehow underrated for being part of the Before Watchmen debacle. It helps that it's so removed from the original series' timeline. Obviously it's nowhere as good as Watchmen, but it felt like a close cousin of The New Frontier.

I definitely plan to pick up Graphic Ink and Twilight Children in the near future to round off my Darwyn Cooke collection, though it'll pain me to experience new artwork from him for the last time.

The Shade maxi-series is very much worth tracking down, and features a murderer's row of talent on the art. There's no Tony Harris on interiors, but you do get Cully Hamner and JH Williams III among other greats, including one last opportunity to enjoy Darwyn Cooke… =(

The first Divinity Mini Series is pretty unique and worth picking up if you're a fan of Kindt. It stands alone pretty well too! I'm curious about II, but now that I know there's a III coming up, I'll wait for reviews to see if I'm in it for the long haul.

I only read the first few issues, but the book has made her more lighthearted while still very clearly being the same person inside. It's tried to move her on from her trauma in an organic way that makes her a better-fitting protagonist. Definitely an improvement over Bendis' use of her in All-New X-Men, where she was

It's pretty meh. Probably the most underwhelming take on the character I've read. She wrote a pretty horrible Hellion during the run as well. Tom Taylor's Wolverine book has been much more interesting and true to the character. Liu seemingly got overwhelmed by the character's more stoic tendencies. Taylor's done a

Revengeance! Fuuuuuck. I forgot all about that one. Looks like we'll have another "What if?" for the ages.

I liked her well enough when Bendis introduced her. Brubaker did her no favors when he wrote her as incredibly shrill - which was later revealed to be for plot purposes, but then left her in an even more unusable state.

That's a fair point. Miller seems to have very little to do with the actual writing, but he's at least playing along with DC and letting them put his name on it. That's quite a different situation from Before Watchmen.

I love Cassandra, but I could tell it was facing diminishing returns after the initial Puckett/Scott run. The later developments with her were painful to read. I'm excited for her role in the new Detective Comics though.

Minutemen was the best of the bunch just for having some distance from the original series timeline.

Good God, poor Milla, who has now gotten screwed over for absolutely no reason.

I recently finished the Waid/Samnee run after having to track down a few issues I somehow missed. The ending was just pure joy, closing on a splash page of Matt - back in his classic red costume - smiling and swinging across San Francisco with the Transamerica building clear in the background. It felt like he finally

It sounds very confusing so far. Apparently everything happened, but Elektra's memory has been changed so that she has this history of dating Matt Murdock while separately going through all those experiences with DD - including dying. I can't imagine how that could be reconciled.

I'm such a completist for his artwork that I actually have the hardcover of his Before Watchmen minis. Never have I been less excited about picking up such an unwanted book in a prestige format, but I knew that if I was going to get it for the artwork, I might as well go all in.

They both aged, but I think it was less immediately noticeable during the post-Dimension Z stories for Steve. When Sharon returned, I think they just drew a few lines under her eyes and didn't draw much attention to it.

I'm not sure how I feel about *Daredevil SPOILERS* Elektra not knowing DD's identity anymore. I think it's one of the foundational aspects of their relationship and dynamic. I'm adopting a wait-and-see approach, but I'm not too optimistic.
