I agree, from a technical point of view this is an easy problem to solve... I don’t understand why it is so difficult. I don’t even use burners and have had the same username, linked to my real life name, for my entire internet career. It is bizarre.

I actually comment so much less than I normally would, because I assume it isn’t going to be seen (also bloody hell it is hard to come back to a conversation after reading the comments once here... I’m a UX Designer and this place sends me berko... but... the quality of the comments means I tolerate the shitty

It’s harder for Aussies like myself... who have been on here for years.... but we miss the peak times (and I also only really get to my feed once a week, because, you know, job and stuff)... surely there’s a star threshold/karma system that gets you out of the greys by now?

Same here - 6 years and counting...

Not to mention Cougartown, which is an entirely underrated show.

Pretty sure that if Cobain wasn’t already dead, news that Ivanka was a fan would have sealed that deal.

Infantilising Bipolar? That *never* happens. *snort* — although I am pretty sure that people don’t mean it that way here and mean it more as supportive “you do you” stuff.

I came here purely in the hope that someone would post a GIF of him on South Park. I was not disappointed.

Part of me does wonder though - at the A and B list level... just how much “turning a blind eye” have they all done? It just seems SO pervasive that even the ones you’d be surprised about, are all famous and powerful enough to have at least seen it and done nothing.

Actual LOL here. I wish I could give you 50 stars.

I wonder where people get the time. I mean, Jez is one of the few blogs I continue to read and comment on... and on the days I do, it takes a fair bit of time.

I have been commenting on Jezebel for 6+ years. Reading it from the beginning. Am Feminist. Am woman. Say stuff I think helps. Because I am GMT+8 I often miss the “peak comment” times and can’t participate as much as I would like. Yep. Still perpetually grey and unloved :D.

Yeah that bothered me too. *He* wants to look after his mother = let him look after his mother. Get fucked on that delusion, bro. Sounds like there’s a bigger issue here, with a selfish mama’s boy, but maybe that is me projecting...

It is interesting, because as I said upthread, income taxes are not that vastly different here than they are in the US. If this stuff kept taxes lower, I would understand, but it doesn’t.

haha did I just get the concept of taxes and government spending explained to me? SMH...

That’s what I find bizarre, is that user-pays health care/insurance is so embedded in the US psyche, that the option is still for you guys to have to pay for insurance as the only option, rather than it be paid for by the government... because “socialism” rhetoric etc.

I am sad about this, but I do have one burning question (the US Insurance system boggles this Aussie’s mind)... but... she still needs Insurance? I always thought that Health Insurance was a middle to middle-upper class thing... and didn’t realise that the children of billionaires who are super rich in their own

People also forget that day-to-day lives are different for celebrities & those associated with them. Hell even just knowing famous people makes you a target.

All of this — we have be re-watching Roseanne and it makes me very sad, because it was just so groundbreaking. People forget just how much The Simpsons, South Park & Roseanne etc paved the way for TV as we know it today.

It always makes me so sad, because Roseanne was such groundbreaking comedy for women & sit com mothers in so many ways. It delegitimises everything she did because now she is ....completely bat shit.
