In most cases I would agree with you — however in this instance, there aren’t even any known victims other than “my friend said about a friend of mine that is a well-known thing”. I think that is my issue with this, over other instances.

It is very much that. As someone who is known for being quite vocal and who doesn’t make their kids the centre of everything online... and over the years have copped a lot of grief for doing it... I often wonder what would happen if I started writing under a male name for 6 months.

This makes me feel more normal about my reaction to the ex who completely fucked up my life moving on... even though I am now married.

Roanoke is worth investing the time - awesome as a binge-watch. It goes in a direction I didn’t expect and I loved it. I watched the first one and was “meh” - then left it until they announced S7 and I thought I should catch up.

What I have done is kept the letter from the lawyer making all sorts of made-up claims about how I drink too much (a glass of wine every night), smoke around the kids (occasional vape), am unstable (have Bipolar that is treated) and blah blah blah... none of it true and the kids know it.

Exactly this. I know it is very hard to see the wood for the trees, but the kids do eventually grow up.
