lol most Greens internationally are. Having been involved, they struggle with the political party part - but are excellent at activism. It is a natural conclusion for a party founded out of activism, but geez... they cannot organise to save their lives and get the message out in a rhetorical and “sound byte” fashion…

Actually, having discussions about this HELPS us. Especially a public figure who is considered bright and talented and successful. Nobody is “remote pathologizing”. Most of us are rooting for him and relieved, after being very, very aware and worried for some time.

I say I’m bipolar because it is a big part of who I am, and why I am so odd. I have learned to embrace its strengths and cope with its weaknesses... so... the label doesn’t matter really.

I don’t usually do it but this has been so textbook. There is no shaming, I actually just feel relieved for him, that maybe this is his turning point.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I never armchair diagnose but in this case, it is just so textbook it is alarming how long it has taken.

I think to anyone with Bipolar or who has seen someone with Bipolar, it has been obvious for some time. But, as we all know, it usually takes a breakthrough episode to get help, admit you need help, etc.

I have been seeing this coming for months. Bipolar person here... and as much as it annoys me to armchair diagnose... yeah... he’s one of us.

Yep. They are people who have to spend every consuming moment on one topic. Well-rounded people do not come out of Medical School (it is why they made it postgrad, because suddenly hospitals found themselves with a bunch of doctors with NO other skills whatsoever....)

Maybe that is what they planned all along? I am not one to conspiracy-theory but am having a glimmer of a thought that this was a strategy to get a Tea Party nut as President, who is now “anyone but Trump”....

I was thinking this yesterday - what if this was all just a big scam/strategy to get Pence as President? Nobody would have voted him outright on his platform, he now looks like a “better alternative”...
