ANy receipts of the engine swap? NO mention of replacement engine mileage. No mention of replacement engine having the IMS bearing “fix” either.

I’m thinking time bomb, potential money pit.   Sorry, but this ranks right up there w/Porsches I would never buy:  996, 944 non-turbos, 914s, and 928s.

Worst case scenario you have to change the cam...at least that’s something you’ll be able to do (I think).  Would be way too costly to have a mechanic do it though.

What's the range with that 2 gal. tank?

No ABS?

A lot of cars in Europe park on the street.

Will municipalities have charging stations every 20' on the street?  Doubtful.

Grilles a little big, but holy phuk, about time we get more two-door coupes some attention!

I would gladly sacrifice a second off 0-60 for another 100miles of range.

Would be good to have emergency flip up standard mirrors in the camera mounts in case there’s a malfunction in the electronics.

Taycan - somewhat better looking front end.

Meh. The only C4 I would consider would be a 1996 LT-4 6-speed convertible. I stupidly passed up on a black one near me for $8k.

1992+ only years to get due to a bit better exterior mods (albeit small).

NO gangsta riding for YOU!

Do you commute to work a long ways? E.g. 14k miles/year or more?

Pretty soon, you won’t have to touch anything on a Tesla. Just voice command everything.

If you can’t wrench, dump the car as soon as the warranty expires. If you buy a used car, buy an extended warranty for the big stuff, and learn to wrench for the small stuff.

Game changer.

Pick the low-hanging fruit. I.e. the projects w/the least work to do to get running.

I love it, but not for $32k. CP   That money can get you an LS-swapped Sky. Still, it’s not that bad as far as kit cars are concerned.

We dems don’t want to get rid of cars. We just want the 95% of non-enthusiasts, who can give a shit what they drive, should be commuting in appliances that are fuel efficient.  More supply means cheaper gas too.
