MH has never really been intuitive.  It’s a real weakness for the series IMO.

I mean she’s already a professional voice actress and even though it’s set in Japan they needed an English-speaking actor for the role. She’s really perfectly cast (and probably doesn’t cost as much as you’d think).

It was the localization team, who already had to find English voices anyways, not the Japanese branch of either studio.

CP being good (and I maintain it’s not) isn’t even part of it’s success, it sold millions in pre-orders. You don’t do that with quality, you do that with hype, and it was pretty much the most hyped game ever.
