Who else there knew what was in the papers at the time?

Does Hughes call himself a “reporter”?

Now playing

I’m boycotting because they got rid of the Taiwan patch on Maverick’s jacket, and also because I didn’t like the original enough to be interested in a sequel even when Thomasin McKenzie was supposed to be in it (she did Lost Girls instead, which now feels like forever ago).

I suspect men everywhere fall into a number of other categories like not caring, believing his public relationships are for PR, or finding the idea of having to deal with both this particular nut and his cult to be a hefty counterbalance to all the money one could hope to get from him.

I say De Palma’s is the best, afterward it became just the sort of stupid James Bond superspy knockoff he’d veered away from.

They were also cast opposite each other in Elaine May’s “Mikey and Nicky”.

The one debt collector I’ve encountered in meatspace said he found the job miserable and did it strictly for the money and because he was good at it. By the time I encountered him though he’d quit to drive a van for disabled people.

I liked the previous Halloween film, but thought it worked best as a final film with no sequels. Perhaps Halloween Ends will provide that, but Halloween Kills was an utter waste that just cheapened everything.

Sterling Hayden was an actual party member.

Process server isn’t a very prestigious job, but I don’t think the woman is an idiot. She got the papers served, thus doing her job. It’s Wilde’s responsibility to receive papers at a more convenient time for her rather than dodging until something like this happens.

I’m assuming you’re not allowed to name & shame that politician here, the jackass.

do you seriously not understand how process serving works?

I thought they already split before she had anything to do with Styles.

“The guy”? The process server was a woman.

It matters that the article claimed something that wasn’t true.

It might be embarrassing to have an envelope tossed during your event, but is it really “humiliating”? She didn’t get hit in the face with a pie.

A collection agent needs to intimidate you into paying up. What does a process server need to get you to do? They just hand over the envelope to verify they received it.

Road to Perdition was basically Lone Wolf and Cub (Logan was too). So Hanks wasn’t all that bad of a guy there, even if he was a murderous gangster.

What is Universal’s connection?

I didn’t realize Snowpiercer was “a hit”. In today’s era where streaming is the big thing, ratings don’t get reported much.
