"Doing clothes you would have thought I had help but they wasn't satisfied unless I picked the cotton myself"

Been my #1 crush for so long that I don't even consider comparing other celebs to him.

I've read several interviews with people (men and women) involved in Precious, and all of them basically has said that she was a 'raging bitch who could not be worked with or reasoned with on any level on set'

I haaaaate movies like precious and beasts of the southern wild. It's like "poverty porn"

This is an excellent example of an actor benefiting from a director with a strong, specific vision. Everything she's done before and since has not exhibited the caliber of performance Mo'Nique gave in Precious.

what was shady about that acceptance speech? that she called out the politics of award campaigning? was she blackballed for not campaigning because lots of actors don't. was she difficult on set?

I get office and industry politics. But, barring her being a raging bitch who could not be worked with or reasoned with on any level on set, I cannot imagine why she couldn't be in any of the aforementioned roles.

He's a father, talking about his kids. In response to a direct question about them. How is that promoting

Children named after their parents is weird?

As a dude, I think one of the problems is that, especially around your college-immediate post college years, there's a lot of pressure to be as promiscuous as possible. Society says "oh you gotta CRUSH those CHICKS HARD" but a lot of us are pretty content to just have one person? And it's tough to say out loud!

I raised a teenage girl alone, and I swear there is not enough money/drugs/sex/whatever in the universe that could convince me that I should go through that again. Nothing. And, as I type this, I'm sitting here looking at my 3-year-old grandson and my 8-year-old grandson and The Dog and thinking, "Well, this could

That's great. Like I honestly don't feel too bad about my marriage as I think that my ex just WASN'T the type of person to be monogamous. She seemed to be trying really hard at first and it was always apparent that a life of monogamy was painful for her.

Just now? (Sorry, I don't mean to mock, but seriously just now?)

Smith is only a billion times smarter than Wahlberg, so I would not expect this to happen any time soon.

I find Will Smith just so dang likeable. He just seems like such a genuine person. And he seems to truly love his family, and have a pretty legit loving/healthy relationship with them. Either he truly is a great human being or he's an even more incredible actor than most of us give him credit for!

"The disdainful stare of a 14-year-old girl"

She is not a kid, shes a candy cane made of snow dreams wrapped in the soul of a whisper.

hmmm. this made me kind of like the smith family. maybe even think they are sort of normal. but maybe that's just what they want me to think.

Yeah, I was gonna say ... I definitely don't remember that time. But I was a black New Yorker back then.

in the words of chuck d, "....that sucker is racist and lame, MF him and John Wayne..."
