What is wrong with Comedy Central? We have Bill fucking Murray in a show and we're going to bury it. WTF? Surely, they could have won some ratings just with his name alone, regardless of how shitty it may have actually been. Would really like to see that.

Yes, it has a very Reznor/Ross feel to it too. Loving it. Really adds an amazing dream-like element to the show.

Something about it always reminds me of a Kubrick movie. I love the way they display the title, the font they use, and the music.

Props should also go out to the score work done by Brian Reitzell. It took a slightly different turn in parts this season, but still contributed highly to the mood and atmosphere of the show. Wonderful work!

Agreed! I actually feel like they nailed this finale to the extent that even if it doesn't come back, I will be happy. They have created something perfect, unique, and amazing that has a clear beginning, middle, and end (depending on how you read the last image - it can be read as an ending). Would I like to see

Yeah I didn't mean to suggest that you do or should feel shame or anything like that. I just finished reading the book an your situation reminded me of the things I read in it. It was a really interesting read that has changed the way I think about a lot of things. Glad things worked out for you in the end though.

You should read Jon Ronson's "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" - covers stories a lot like the ones you just told (well, ok, not A LOT like yours, but similar anyway).

Dammit missed the posting date again :( well I have a good excuse this time - I'm in the UK! I plan to go to the Doctor Who experience in Wales in a week or two, so I'm super excited about that!!!!

Which is a pretty apt metaphor for what happened to their music.

Just listened to this today. Definitely not a worthy successor to Shape of Punk to Come, which I get was probably exactly what they wanted, but still… it's hard not to feel hugely disappointed with what they've turned into. There are a couple of good tracks on here, but too many absolutely horrible, cringe-worthy

Both of their albums this year were so fucking great. Just when I thought I had had enough of them, they release two classics. ALthough I have to say I like Jenny Death a lot more than the instrumental one.

Happy to see Metz, Rachel Grimes, and John Carpenter on here! But as for best reuniting album, it's hands down the Faith No More record, which just got better and better as I listened to it.

I just recently did a podcast about this very thing! Here's the link if you want to check it out (mostly rock oriented, but also other stuff including film scores, which is something I listen to a lot). http://www.umfm.com/program…
