Oh I guess it goes back farther. Beastie Boys, the Goats, New Kingdom, some MF Doom (although I haven't heard as much of his as I would like), and some local guys from my hometown in the mid to late 90s.

Yep that's a great one. Another one is Nine Inch Nails' "The Fragile". I think there's only one song on there that I'm not crazy about, and even it's still pretty good.

Yeah I've been enjoying that quite a bit too. It's my first delve into their whole scene because I couldn't resist listening to it after reading the title.

Actually, just today I noticed that several posts have big "Brought to you by X" things on them. Maybe it's been like that for a while and I haven't noticed, but anyway it's a step in the right direction. Thanks for pointing me to the FAQ, I will check that out. And thanks for taking the time to respond as well;

Big Black. "Songs About Fucking" is an amazing album that brought them to the attention of many many more people. Their next one would have been hugely popular, I bet. But, being who they are, they didn't care. Too bad for us, how great would it be to have another couple of Big Black albums?

I'd throw the original Evil Dead in there too. I'm aware that it maybe hasn't aged so well for some people, but I saw it for the first time at a young age, so when I see it now, it still scares the living crap out of me.

Not interested in US remakes of almost any kind - TV shows, movies, anything. Much rather have the original and deal with subtitles.

Nice area. Been to Guilin City and Yangshuo in the past. Liked Yangshuo a lot.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

The size of the company behind the products hardly matters and neither does the use of said product; it's the principle. If money has exchanged hands, then this is an advertisement and it should be labeled as such.

Yeah me too. I'm in China, so I have to resort to downloading torrents for most things. The BBC ones were all dead. Every subtitling site I saw only had the same subs I'm experiencing now….

Said it before and I'll say it again: the music section of this website is faaaaaaaaar behind all the other parts. The writers are so willing to delve into weird, underground, unpopular, artistic movies, TV, comics, etc., but for some reason that approach doesn't seem to apply to their music reviews and coverage.

Yep, another show I seem to disagree with a lot of people on. I've loved every single season of that show (although I have to admit the latest is the absolute best of all).

Yeah I totally agree with you. I think Dennis is being a little harsh. Besides, you need some slow parts to make the brutal parts more invigorating, right? And the performances are generally solid throughout, making them at least entertaining to watch.

Yeah, I guess. I don't mind junk food, but SHIELD has just become insulting in its badness. Can't take hate-watching it anymore just because I want to stay caught up with the MCU. It's terrible.

Watching such quality has really made take a long hard look at why I'm wasting my time on Agents of SHIELD. It's such garbage compared to real tv. I've decided from now on I'm only reading plot synopses just so I can keep up with the Marvel movie stuff.

I think I have to agree with that. It's fucking great. Almost Hella like in places with the guitars in there. And still fucking crazy as ever.

Since I was a kid, I have wanted to go on Price is Right. I really wanted to go when Bob was on though… not sure I care as much with Drew. Who am I kidding - it would still be awesome to get up there and play some crazy fucking game like Plinko. Knowing my luck, I'd end up with Lucky 7 or one of the lame ones where

Mushrooms + marijuana + Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas = tons o' fun (or so I've heard, anyway).

You haven't experienced fun until you've played Wario Ware Smooth Moves on the Wii while completely drunk with friends.
