Actually the Buick Regal just like the Vauxhall Insignia is a re-badged Opel Insignia. Opel in Germany make it, Vauxhall and Buick slap their badges on it. The Buick is probably more closer to the Opel given they are both LHD (apart from the Opels sold in Ireland) over Vauxhall's RHD model.
