There are so many cars sold in Australia that this is not the case. first gen Mazda 6 comes to mind, as does Holden’s own Commodore/Monaro (VT-VU generation).

The guy actually had a heart attack which is why he wasn’t quick to respond with killing the engine.

You know you can remove the Siri button from the touch bar right?

In theory yes, however the Opel Omega/Cadillac Catera platform was further modified to create the Holden Commodore aka Pontiac GTO. There are surprisingly few interchangeable parts.

the CHMSL is in the rear spoiler. Same with my JDM E39A Galant VR-4 Evolution:

ALL Eclipses have shared their platform with the same era Galant.

Can’t they just use the regular toilet to pee?

Now you’ve just made me feel really nostalgic - thanks for that!

If only there was another simpler way to prevent shock...

Many production vehicles do have variable induction inlet manifolds, however the usually work with a series of butterflies that direct the plenum air through either longer or shorter runners. Mazda did this with their V6 engines, as did Mitsubishi and GM on their ‘90s onwards V6's.

This generation Mirage actually comes all wheel drive with or without turbo (Cyborg).

Not quite. In Japan the Carina was a sister car to the Corona that shared the same platform (along with the Celica etc). In Europe, the Corona was simply rebadged as the Carina A, despite not being the same as the Carina that was available in Japan.

I can’t find him on the last level either :(

In the UK they have plate scanning cameras which probe insurance registry databases in real time as the cop is driving around. If a vehicle doesn’t have insurance, it will be flagged for the officer’s attention. All plates in the UK have the same size regulations/font style which is better for recognition.

The BFMR Mazda 323/Familiar GT-X was released internationally in 1985, I think coming to the US in 1988. The GT-R was the next gen BG shape in 1991.

When I was living in NZ I had a Mk4 Golf with the VR5 - it was a novelty having the nice sound (also had a Mk3 Gulf VR6), but that soon wore off with the vibrations and other nastiness the car had. Thankfully I didn’t own it long.

The original ads never had Karaja’s She Moves, which was released in 2001 - that was dubbed over the compilation of the Isuzu ads.

You are very much mistaken - the 2015 onwards generation XF doesn’t ride on the DEW98 platform.

The Ford Maverick name was also applied to rebadged Nissan Safari/Patrols in Australia during the late ‘80s/early ‘90s under the Button plan. As a result, Nissan sold the Ford Falcon pick up as the ‘Nissan Ute’.
