But what about a truck towing a boat towing a truck

“down with corporations!... Except tesla and apple, we would die for them"

Bright colored “accent” pieces, inside and out, should have died with shitty old pontiac grand am that every wannabe F&F fan drove in highschool.

As a pretty big fan of many wagons, I must say that I don’t care for this much at all. The back isn’t wagony enough, and the overall shape looks more minivan than wagon, let alone sports wagon. Europe can keep this one.

Every car I have ever driven has had the head unit mounted on top, with the “extra functions” of the car mounted below. Putting the screen where the regular head unit would be (which it is, anyway...) would be no worse than the past, in fact, since your extra controls are all integrated in the screen, they are now

Why would removing an integrated touch screen be any different than one like this? In either case, a piece of trim is used to hide screws that fasten it in. Hell, full on integrated radios have been easily removed for as long as I’ve been alive. Remove a piece of trim with a panel tool, 2-4 screws, and it is out.

As a design engineer (for 2 years), I have done both of these things. It just depends on the application, requirements, and resources.

Why would an integrated LCD that could be roughly the same size as a double DIN radio be any harder to incorporate than a double DIN radio? It has been going on for years, why is it suddenly a problem now? You are making an issue where none exists.

I’m assuming that your username is reference to your opinions, huh.

I enjoy driving dynamics and good handling car. But I also like my sunroof. I also like convertibles in some cases. You know, sometimes there are other pleasures to be had in a car, aside from perfect dynamics, especially considering for almost every driver in the world driving dynamics are only important for a small

It seems like a lot of commenters are ignoring the blatantly obvious fact that this was not intended to be anything other than a goofy parody of hip hop music videos.

You do know that this is sort of satire of the hip hop world, right? They are making fun of rap videos. They did not take this video seriously.

Removing the mustache-esque bumpers does wonders for these things. It actually almost looks cool now.

I see more of a need to de2000schryslerfy the prowler than to de1980sify this actual rod.

Complete with point-to-point wiring

Dirt finds its way into everything. If he is talking about the sliding covers, I’m sure dirt could get into the track and bind it. If he is talking about the roll back type like you have pictured, I can see how dirt would potentially get into the latch mechanisms making it hard to seat the latch, at least if it is

Popping the lid and closing it in under 3 seconds is not advantageous vs unlatching, rolling back, rolling forward (insuring the Velcro is pulled tightly on either side), and re-latching? Maybe the bed cover you are used to is different, but I’m thinking the one Andrew is referring to is similar to the one I’ve used.

The one at my previous job shrank over the years. It became quite difficult to pull it tight enough to get the latching mechanism (you know, the one that latches the cover down?) to seat on both sides. Had we used it in an environment with tons of wood chips or sediment, I could easily see the latch causing more

That’s the whole point of this new product! It can roll up, OR lift up. Lift it up for quick, easy access. Roll it back for making as much space vertically as you need. I see no benefit of a tri-fold over this.

I wouldn’t say “better”, but I would say more of a value. The lift up feature would be nice for most users on some occasions, but I’m sure it wouldn’t really be worth the cost vs a standard roll up. Again, for MOST people. There will be some out there where something like this could prove extremely useful
