The Leaf and the Prius are designed specifically to look different and pretentious, but doing so gives up any sort of sporting look or intentions. I have no qualm with the idea of a hybrid semi-performance car, but the Leaf and the Prius are not the ones. 

So, essentially, this 80% rule is causing significant waste of resources and pollution? Get rid of the rule. If a company wants to pay for a slot and not use it, who cares? The outcome is the same as if they fly a ghost flight, except with less waste.

Yes. It was funny, then it was played out, then it got funny again. Sometimes things become funny due to the absurd dedication to the joke. This is not the only example, and just because you do not find it funny it does not mean it isn’t to others.

Am I mistaken, or were these almost worthless only a few years ago? I seem to remember seeing them on ebay in the early 2000s for under $20,000 for nice ones. Is this a false memory, or have they really appreciated that well?
