The whole visibility over traffic thing is only a problem alleviated by the same thing that caused it. Without towering SUVs all over the place, visibility was fine, even in small cars. Not to mention you used to be able to see through the back window of the vehicle in front of you, before our cars were turned into

I feel stupid. Should I feel stupid?

Or flood pants and hiking shoes.

There sure is a lot of goose poop around here. And they are mean little bastards.

“”That kind of money”

Honestly, there is probably a safety factor of AT LEAST 2X in that rating. You have to imagine that if it can support a 150lb load while driving over big dips and hitting bumps, that its max static load is well over 150lbs, plus safety, fatigue, etc.

When I used that site, I changed the percentage of highway and city driving from 0-100, 50-50, and 100-0 without it effecting anything, which makes sense, since it asks average MPG. I just don't know why they include the highway/city percentage at all.

I know this in theory, but for some reason just can’t help but think about the punk-ass image associated with them. I mean, I don’t think it is unrealistic that I would ever buy one, but it would definitely always be on my mind.

LOL I don’t doubt you, and I am not surprised. I only had what information I was given, and I believe that you are correct about it being from RCR.

My 100k/year statement was assuming the national average price, since that is the most statistically appropriate number to use. I do not doubt that someone somewhere would see that sort of savings, but they would be an outlier. For the overwhelming majority of the population, $1,600 or more would be exceptionally

There was an article on here (or maybe oppositelock) a while ago that explained, at least partially, why many BMW owners don’t use their turn signals. It had something to do with the two position levers. I THINK it was something like tapping the stalk makes the signals flash a few times, then turn off. A full push

With gas at $2.90 and miles driven/year at 12,000 (rough national averages), the yearly difference is only like $273.

Check your math. 24,000/15 is 1600 gallons, and $6400. 24,000/17 is 1412 gallons and $5647. That’s a difference of like $750...

I see lack of snobbery as a bonus, personally. One reason I was turned off by a 335i was how pretentious and snobby BMW owners are (or at least seem). I don't want people to think that I think that I am better than them.

It’s not quite as bad as the tacked on screens on the dash board. INTEGRATE THEM. MAKE THEM SLEEK! What is so hard about this?

I don’t think many people are saving $2k per year with a 2mpg advantage. That would either be some extremely expensive gas, or someone is driving 100k miles a year.

They are going to look at the hit counter and think everyone is interested in the car, when in reality everyone is investigating them for being a shady dealership

I certainly did not wake up this morning expecting to see a stuntin like my daddy reference

My car is fast because nice wheels

Well I can kind of see why Buick brought those over, but they are a decade too late. Middle aged to old ladies love a convertible, and the Cascada is, admittedly, pretty good looking. The G6 convertible sold pretty well to that market, and it was hideous and terrible.
