That is such a remarkably untrue statement that it blows my mind. Why would you want to drive a disconnected feeling, crunchy, reluctant, or otherwise bad transmission in a car that is not designed for any sort of fun driving? What is the attraction?

I definitely see that, and agree. However, I will take one silly Taurus fake vent then the plethora of other random fake vents and grilles smothering most other sedans today.

I guess I don’t quite understand the point of a manual in a car like this, then. If I don’t want a short, boy racer manual in my car, then I probably just want a nice cruiser, right? Why have a manual in a cruiser? Sit back and let an auto shift for you, instead.

I dont think it is as bulky and out of proportion as the Taurus, or at least I hope not. The CC looked small, and had really nice proportions. I’m assuming that this will be the same, but I guess we will have to see it in person.

Like Subaru’s wintergreen metallic. It looks great in person, although it is more teal than actual green, I think.

True, but if the manual in this car really isn’t very good, it could ruin the whole stick shift enjoyment of the car.

I seem to be the minority here, but I think this thing looks a lot better than many vehicles on the road today. Sure, it is “bland” in comparison to the newer Lexus, Toyota, Civic Type R, etc., but that is because most of the cars out right now are outrageously over-styled. This VW is simple, sleek, and pretty

I’ll agree with that!

No more snotty than you were towards Subaru.

The Traverse is the minivan of the 2010s. I’d rather be a “hipster” than drive one of those. And to suggest that the Traverse is “different”....I’m speechless

That c300 does look bad. It looks like a poorly done Chinese copy of a MB.

I don’t know what it is, but I can’t get myself to like any of the newer Benz front ends. Maybe it’s the grille size, maybe it is the fake vents, or maybe it is how the cars can’t decide if they should be round or angular, but whatever it is, I do not like them.

As a wagon fan, I do not like that at all. That rear end looks so droopy and useless.

I think your description captured the “meh” better than this entire article did.

You don’t say?!

Many cities have laws specifically restricting street parking at certain times or all together. Minneapolis does the opposite. Weird.

The thing is, I think there are a huge number of drivers that don’t have much of those traits and seriously hate driving cars. I hear people say, all of the time, that if they didn’t have to drive, they wouldn’t. I also see a huge percentage of drivers staring at their phones while cruising along at 70mph, without

I never thought I’d see a Chrysler Sebring/200 convertible enthusiast. Interesting
