I don’t live in an HOA neighborhood either, for the record. Anyway, sure, most neighbors aren’t going to be trashy regardless of whether there is an HOA or not. However, lazy, trashy neighbors exit in many neighborhoods and an HOA would do a good job of keeping their lazy filthy lives closed up inside, and not outside

Let us all be aware that in no place does it say that all trim levels of all models will have some sort of electrification. It is possible that there will be gas-only variants of some or all of their models.

Yeah, but many people have already waited over a year for replacement parts after they are “available”. They are available in certain quantities. A consumer can’t magically make a dealer have parts in stock.

Yeah, my neighborhood would have been better off if there was a rule against me living there

Arguing with these people is useless. They either A) don’t actually own homes and don’t understand or B) they are the trashy neighbor with the run down house

You people seem to be arguing simply for the sake of arguing. Most people do not want to live next to a house that, for one reason or another, is an eyesore. An HOA guarantees that no houses will look trashy or otherwise bad, and so it keeps values up. Sure, maybe you have no problem living next to some run-down

Because when someone paints their house horrible, awful, bright colors that, nobody wants to move in next door and see that monstrosity every day. If you don’t understand why people wouldn’t want an ugly or otherwise poorly taken care of house next to them, you are probably the owner of one of those houses...

No, the HOA didn’t realize that the apparent upside down pile of shit was actually a functioning, registered car. You can’t really fault them for that. Now, if after proving it is road legal and used for personal transportation they give him more trouble, then they are ignoring their own rules.

You mean the guy who lived on a main road on the outskirts of a town, next to neighbors who bought the land from him AFTER he already had his junk yard, full knowing what they were getting into? Or is this another story?

Any reasonable person would have driven through the gate, which is likely hollow aluminum or fiberglass, or around them. There was plenty of room between the rails and the gates to sneak off. Leaving the car on the track was the only thing she could have done wrong at that point.

Mark my words: Subaru is going down that same road. Look at the 4th gen Legacy (specifically the GT and Spec.b) compared to the 6th gen Legacy, as well as their increasing trend towards snooze-worthy crossovers

$78 CAD?!?! Isn’t that like 4 cents USD?

Yes and no. Sure, he will experience things that I never will in his life...But on the other hand, to be turned down so publicly probably felt like nothing he has ever experienced before. They buy these cars because they think they are more important than everyone else, so to be told otherwise probably pisses him off

That just shows that he really doesn’t give a shit about cars, he just wanted a status symbol. It is a shame that the (objectively) good cars are always bought as status symbols.

The point of these cars is speed, practicality, and luxury. A few more pounds for a sunroof is an easily checked box for me. If I want a light weight racer, I’ll get something else. So with that said, if there are any sunroof V-wagon owners out there, I will gladly take your horribly overweight, sunroof riddled wagons.

Every new Jaguar Land Rover model line will be electrified from 2020, giving our customers even more choice.

A PCP deal in the UK must be different than a PCP deal in the US

The Kia doesn’t pack a huge punch, but for a daily commuter that needs to fit into tight spaces when it comes to parking, my buck is on the Soul.

Kia’s grilles look so cheap to me. Then again, at least they don’t look like Lexus’ or Honda’s

I will certainly agree that they are having an ugly contest at the moment, but “shitboxes”? Come on, when was the last time you drove a japanese car? 1970?
