Bad movie. Way too broad. I wish the message Hollywood would get from this is that people don't want to see ultra-cynical films where people do horrible fucking things and then we are supposed to be happy that they get a happy ending. Unfortunately, the message will be, "Guess people don't actually want comedies made

Ugh. Hate shit like this. People hate a word like this because they think it's cute to hate a word. It's very easy to decide not to hate a word.

Good / lame vanity project. Hmmmm.

Marie Antoinette is my comfort film. I have no real interest in debating its merits, I just love the experience of watching it.

"A brush against the shoulder". Yeah, because that is something that has resulted in sexual assault charges before. It's been clear for a long time that Cosby is a disgusting fuck - now we know Andrew Wyatt and Ebonee Benson are, also.

Ah, thanks. I think the most telling thing about the Q&A scenario is that after the fact, Amirpour said she was "attacked". I generally am willing to cut people slack when they are answering questions in front of an audience, because the few times I have found myself in that situation, I have clammed up or inevitably

I read about the Music Box Q&A. When you say "history with race" that makes me think it's something that goes way back. Are there any other examples?

Can you show me an example? Just curious.

90% of audience questions in Q&A's are such garbage. Half of them aren't questions at all, but a chance for the audience member to present their own ideas, or show off some boring piece of trivia they know.

The action sequences were better directed and more clear than many other big action movies made in the past ten years. It was relatively easy to follow what was happening in the various fights. However, I agree, the bar is VERY low on that matter.

You asked if people over 18 really refer to themselves as "queer". I said, in so many words, that I know people between the ages of 19 and 50 who refer to themselves as queer. I answered a question that you asked. I am not disputing that you have not heard people over 18 refer to themselves as queer.

I was disappointed that no one said, "Wow, you really are a wonder, woman!" after she did something cool.

Oooohhh boy you really made me COMPLETELY rethink my thoughts on this movie!!!

Many humans over the age of 18, 30, 40 (and probably higher!) refer to themselves as queer.

You say "that it's directed by a woman doesn't mean a whole lot", though it clearly does to many people. It meant something to me, it meant something to my wife, it meant something to the woman next to me. How can a "niche market" film top the box office for two weeks straight at the beginning of the summer?

Advance Base - "nephew in the wild"

Man you are really gettin all these folks! You speak the truth! Woah just pokin holes in everything! WOOOO.

I've seen that guy with a drink in his hand. Is that a quote from the Untouchables?

Oh yeah, otherwise I would have forgotten.

I love Blue Velvet. None of the voyeurism or sexuality in that film is as embarrassing as the leering in TP season 3 so far.
