I came to this in London, shortly after I got used to driving on the left again. I looked left and saw a truck coming. Trust me, it was time to panic.

Saw this at the grocery store a while back.

I went to Germany a couple of years ago. There was a surprising number of American cars there. (Not sure if the Chrysler 300 Wagon (!) counts, given that it was never sold here.)

There you go.

Once upon a time, it seemed nearly every race weekend they’d finish by playing the German national anthem, followed by the Italian national anthem. It got to the point where it was one long song in my head. It was nice to hear it again.

Now wait just a minute! The law says:

Keeping some good company with that. Ferrari did the same thing on the F40.

I saw one of these about two years ago. It had a chrome Pep Boys stick-on “V” attached right under the “XLR” badge. I parked my V-Wagon right next to it.

A track day is the best way.

True. But you’re not supposed to blow the doors AT the competition.

My latest hobby is taking car names with string of letters that work as Roman numerals, and pronouncing them that way. You’d be surprised how many it works for. Such as:

This was several years ago, so I might remember it wrong, but I think the different sized wheels kicked me up into STU.

This is a man after my own heart.

I knew the Malibu wagon. My first car was a Malibu wagon. Sir, you are no Malibu wagon.

It doesn’t matter! The week I was there, I met two guys who were driving a 1970's Land Rover around the Nordschleife. They weren’t even close to quick, but they were having fun.

Well, that makes at least 3 V-wagons that have made the trip across the ocean. My visit was partially inspired by Motor Trend taking their long-term test V-wagon (with Michigan plates) to Germany a few years ago. Surprisingly, I saw another CTS-V wagon while I was there. It had Swiss plates, though, so a little bit

It would look better, I agree, but the ‘Ring is a lot like rally racing when it comes to spectators and videos. You end up with 15 seconds of your car going around one or two corners, and then you wait for ten minutes or so. You’d need to hire dozens of camera crews or maybe a drone to do it right.

I thoroughly agree with the concept of taking 4400 lb American v-8 wagons to the ‘Ring.
