Get a roommate to share expenses. If you have a good one, you’ll have a friend and most expenses are split leaving you with extra. Hell, even if you’re not friends, if you’re at least cordial. I think that is worth it until you make more money or get married.

I've heard SD is the greatest place to live in the world! At least you don't have it all. I lived in CT and now in VA. We drink from the tap, but some places I've been, the tap has a weird taste. I've heard NYC has one of the best tasting tap.
