This was our first time cosplaying at Emerald City Comic Con. Can’t wait to figure out what to do next year!

Great thing is that if con season doesn’t jibe with hatchling season, you don’t need to wait

Just want to put my cousin’s TNG cosplay right here. Baby Picard FTW

I cannot find their picture (so here’s one of a stranger on the internet doing the same thing) but my friend dressed up as Leela from Futurama, her husband as Fry, and their baby as Nibbler. Super cute.

I would have to find one featuring my favorite cartoon character of all time-

While looking for a stunning Kuato from Total Recal costume, I found this gem instead.

I BEGGED my wife for months to let my son and I dress as either Rocket and Groot or Bran and Hodor. I even tried selling it that all I’d be able to say is HODOR. This year he wants to be Captain America and wants me to be Hulk. That might work, though I kind of want him to be Bruce Banner to my Hulk.

And for SDCC, we did the Luke/Yoda, but got more obscure with the Summers family. I would keep accidentally introducing my wife as Jean and she would cry, then whenever I called our son Christopher she would shout, “Nathan!”

For his first Halloween, I did the lil Yoda on my back. The year after we went for The Doctor and TARDIS, with mom as River. Yay for required cosplay!

My first costume with my son was Tiny Lawyer:

...did I just set your son up for getting pestered for grandkids?

Expanding this to Halloween costumes (considering box stores are already teeming with Halloween) I plan on a headless horseman costume with baby as the pumpkin head.

This makes me want to have a baby to do this (My son just graduated college). Nope... I’ll see if I can conscript one of the neighbors

If I had to lug one around, I think Poison Ivy and a little potted Audrey II would be hilarious.
