Robert C O'Brien's Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, as well as the movie. Secret of NIMH were a dark. Now they are making a comedy "planet of the Apes" style reboot. Sigh. Watership Down was also a darker cartoon movie.

Watched the original on the Super Channel back in the 80s. In Ontario…so it did exist outside of Quebec. Depressing though…You have to be older than 30 to probably remember it.

Lorne Michaels should retire as show runner. He might have been funny in the 70s, 80s and 90s but time to retire after 40 years. They should also retire the weekend update. Comedy central and HBO do a much better job.
