As a Fiero owner I support this comment.
Flawless. Now make one out of a Fiero, you sick maniac.
Irony is an etymologist who can’t.
I had a 1993 SL1. Basic as hell. Crank Windows. 4 Speed. Not a single repair needed the whole time I had it. Fun to drive. Not even so much as a squeak. Best car I ever owned. Also had a 1998 (or so) Wagon. 2nd best car I ever owned. If they revived that and made THOSE basic, well made, inexpensive cars again, they…
My Pao has it on the right.
This might be the one example they can both be a nice price, and the most expensive car you ever owned after driving it a short distance.
I can explain that part. Migrants will cross the border during this time of year in the desert because it’s only about 80 degrees right now. The SUV gets loaded on the American side of the border, and heads westward to San Diego or possibly Los Angeles or the Inland Empire. Sadly, that’s how it works.
Guys, illegal immigrants or not, people died.
I would guess the brakes gave way and they couldn’t stop at the stop sign.
Farmworkers going from job to job.
Counterpoint: Cadillac is tied to GM, and they recently announced their all-electric 2035 plans. Electric cars are mostly going to be “skateboard” chassis vehicles, so it doesn’t matter how much R&D they throw into their products. The bread and butter item on the Caddy menu will be a churched up Tahoe until further…
I had a 92 Saturn SL1. It was a very basic car but it was ROCK SOLID. I don’t think I spent one dime on non-maintenance repairs. Not even so much as a squeak. Best car I’ve ever owned. They really had something there
Yup. GM explicitly said that Saturn was all about adapting Japanese car manufacturing methods to the U.S. workplace. They produced some truly neat cars. Then GM killed the division off, and now the small car market in this country is almost entirely dominated by the Japanese.
GM letting Saab and Saturn wither on the vine, leading to their eventual death.
