They’re both good, but they have different strengths. A roundabout allows traffic to continue to flow through moderately high-traffic intersections with a minimum of delay. A jughandle allows for safe left turns by requiring one to drive past the intersection, then take a 270* right turn, then generally wait at the

Not that cool. Turkey is currently sponsoring a war against Armenians, and they have form in that.

Once you view this clip, you’ll realize Mississippi Man is already drinking Florida Man’s beer.

Alaska: Live, Freeze, and Die.

As a NJ resident who is originally from Idaho, you NAILED both of them. Literally the VERY FIRST TIME in my life I was in NJ, my friend was very excited to point out jughandles, and how they’re really like the best possible way to deal with left turns on busy roads. I thought he was insane, but within 3 months I was

Oh man I wish they would come out here to the Bay Area. I get them frozen once in a while but it’s not the same.

You know it. Potato balls, steak tortas, and all the pastries.

It’s even more interesting than that. The V6 in question was in fact this exact engine. And even weirder, GM sold the design to Kaiser-Jeep, and then bought it back from AMC years later.

Is FCA’s end game to kill off Dodge/Chrysler? Dodge is now down to the Charger, Challenger, and Durango. Chrysler has the 300 and Pacifica/Voyager.  The only new product rumors I hear are related to Jeep and Ram...

I don’t believe that’s entirely true. (That said, I am not an expert in this area.)

I am confused by this one, on the surface it seems like a repeat of the dude in San Diego county doing that, but looking at the hands and the symbols on the hood (the swastika is the Tibetan one and the peace sign next to it...) it almost seems like they are doing a parody/performance thing.

“Peddled” or “Pedalled”

Very correct! ZAP did get NHTSA approval to import first gen smarts.

Enzo Ferrari famously named a car after his son, Dinosaur Ferrari.

Not only was the SL3 going to have the coupe front end, but it was going to have an inline-6 which would have had 2 extra cylinders thrown onto the end of the standard Saturn 4-banger. It came so close to realization that first-gen owners manuals refer to the SL3 when talking about the pop-up headlights.

Sorry, friend. That is a 3rd-gen SL1. SC’s had much different (better) design. Different bumper, headlights curved into the hood, etc.

You’re an ICU nurse? Today, the question isn’t what car you should buy, it’s what car we should buy for you.

If you don’t get to work I might die, so please buy a Corolla.

My point: Most, but not all, of these risks were disasters. I am not sure GM can be blamed for being risk-averse.

Loved that movie!
