Lagers are just the worst. I wish the whole macro brew craze would end (still 85% of beer sales). Every time as friend hands me a Bud… Nope. My friends know better.

Skip Cooter's unless you see them clean their lines. You want any of the Bulldogs, Avenue Pub, d.b.a. or better yet, Courtyard Brewery. Get out of the French Quarter for good beer.

As Joey is pointing out, band aid flavor is a phenolic compound produced by some standard ale yeasts as well as less used yeasts and wild yeasts. If your beer tastes like bandaids, someone has screwed up.
