@biminitwst: 3)Beat up Ford Focus, Escort Ranger or Exploder.

@Motor_Yakuza: If GM has any brains at all, they'd have a Cadillac based on the Voltec architecture available right after the Volt is released. Selling a car with the potential for a higher profit margin would help them offset the development costs that much quicker.
Though it's commendable to get more fuel economy out of something they made longer and bigger, but did they have to make it uglier?
@roaduscarnivorous: I'd love to at least see a concept car with that configuration one of these days. The problem is that you're taking two expensive technologies and putting them together. Take the average premium for a diesel (say.. $2000) and the premium for a strong hybrid ($5000), and you'd have to have really…
@☠Grяrяrяrяrяrяrя. All I ever wanted was a Chrysler Cordoba...: +1, Insightful.

I was very excited for the Background Window plugin until I saw that warning screen in the installer. So much for making GIMP easy for multitaskers.
@Braffapalooza: To hell with you people, it's all about Equal.
@NovaloadMissesPolar: I don't think one could classify a cheap, no-frills piece of transportation greedy or a corporate cheap shot. A Lincoln Blackwood, that's greedy. A Porsche Cayenne, that's soulless.
It takes some balls for a company to pull the plug on a product that's high profile and that they have invested so much time and money into. But if it wasn't meeting "quality standards" (an odd phrase coming from EA, knowing what they were only a few years ago), it's good that they've killed it.
@Nik in NOLA: Except that he's comparing CivIV: Col to the original Colonization, where your units stood a better chance against European forces and you had the flexibility to build up a sufficient force on your own to defeat the expeditionary force rather than having to always rely on securing allied support.
