I won’t blame anyone for not buying a car after a bad experience.  All I know that my 2012 3 was rust free after 105,000 miles on moderately salty NJ roads.  Maybe they fixed it?

When I bought mine it came with an electric guitar, which is reason enough to love a car. In all seriousness the carbon deposits started causing coil packs to blow every 10 minutes at around 150,000 miles and that would have cost a fortune to repair so I traded it in.

Yeah my latest car is the first one I ever owned with these options. Blind spot monitoring is great, lane keep assist is so annoying I turned it off. Everything else falls into the ‘ehhh’ category.  

I teach STEM in a Middle School and I would say about 90% of kids think Tesla’s are self driving. You can argue about the term “Autopilot” being misleading, but its great marketing. Most kids are not daydreaming about Lambos but sending Snaps while their Tesla shuffles them along.

I’m not a huge fan of the Tesla 3's interior or exterior looks. But thats style aside this is getting closer to my person EV buying point. Accord/Camry sized car with 250 miles range for about 35k, and thats a good thing.
