Why is that harsh? It sounds like a compliment.

I dream of dead people if they had an impact on me or mean a lot to me. I think it would have been great to have Pierce in Jeff's subconscious considering the subject matter. That's probably why they put that card from him in there.
"I bet 40 year olds would appreciate this more, if any of them watched Community."
1. That's a stupid reason to not read it.
2. I'm sure nobody cares (I only care enough to point out you're a jagoff)
Annie's response is to cry at the prospect of Jeff dying, while Britta's is slapping him to snap him out of it after Abed says eyes opening can also mean death. Both make perfect sense character-wise.
A+ from me. I thought it was amazing.
"I think you mean 'boys of the 80s' because not too many girls of any age watched GI Joe."
Spot on wax. I'm not sure how others interpreted it any other way.
Solid A. This was old school character-based, funny and feely Community.
And she did that right after telling them that the adults were there to tear down their child forts (forget the exact line but loved the subtlety of how they did that).
"As watered down as the show was last year, there was at least an attempt by the showrunners to tell new stories, to build on what had come before, to grow the show just a little"
A from me. I'm going to watch it again and see but I think it might be one of my favorite all-time episodes.
