To clarify, T-Mobile has supported wifi calling since iOS 8.0. Sprint support was just added with 8.3.

I wonder how that'll work now that AT&T is throttling FX, CBS and Hulu.

I stream video on a 3Mbps connection and never really have to wait for buffering. It's definitely not great, but it would be quite tolerable if it weren't for the ridiculous signal loss on the DSL line causing connection freezes whenever I start a download. Gaming on it sucks; I get better reliability out of a

Well, I got the C2V and installed in the attic, but it seems to be even worse than my old RCA ANT1450B omnidirectional antenna. It picks up most of the channels just fine, even the PBS VHF channel I mentioned, but it fails miserably with the one channel I thought it would work great with: the local ION which is UHF

Ahh, that's good to hear. Does the channel come in pretty well? The main one I'm hoping to pick up (PBS channel) is only 20 miles away and it's about 230 degrees off from the direction I need to point for the other ones. I discovered that the other PBS channel in my area is using a rare low-VHF frequency (RF channel

Do you have the C2V? I was looking at the specs on the C2V and found that the VHF reception is nearly omnidirectional. Most of the channels in my area are in one general direction, but there's a couple VHF outliers that I'm hoping to be able to pick up with the C2V I just ordered.

For most people, the data usage is probably negligible, but I use Ting and I always come in just under their 100MB plan. Voice+ has me a bit concerned.

The Evo LTE is still a great phone. Sense really brings it down a lot, but installing CyanogenMod got rid of almost all of my complaints about the phone. Honestly, I was considering upgrading to a Nexus 5, but now I think I can hold out for another generation.

This is what I'm doing now, but Voice+ is such a data hog. I haven't even sent or received any messages yet in this install. So my choices are to use a bunch of texts on my plan or use a bunch of data without even using it.

Best speeds I can get in my area without switching to one of the expensive wireless ISPs. Really pissed off at Clear for shutting down right when Sprint brought LTE out to my area. They said they were gonna start offering LTE with their unlimited home plans. :/

50GB is actually a lot of bandwidth for a satellite provider. I don't think I've seen anything higher than 25GB from the ones I've checked.

But if you don't have a data connection, you can't use a texting alternative app so it still doesn't make any sense.

VOTE: Hangouts

They didn't; my knowledge on the matter comes entirely from my own research on the internet.

"None of this means anything."

I have none. Taking pictures of events is idiotic and pointless in my opinion.

VOTE: Nexus 7

Not to mention copper and aluminum pans are toxic. So there's that.

If there were decent sites to buy lossless music from, I wouldn't need CDs. Unfortunately that's not the case. I could never bring myself to buy lossy music.
