Still can’t understand the love for WandaVision.  I found it mediocre at best.  The gimmicky writing and uninspired performances were a real disappointment.  My top pick would be Moon Knight FWIW.

Why is all the reporting on Netflix so incomplete? The lost 200,000 subs which includes 700,000 lost in Russia for obvious reasons. That wasn’t really in their control. Excluding unavoidable Russian losses, they still added 500,000.  Not what their target was, but still a gain, not a loss.  They are forecasting a

Gary Cole as Kurt McVeigh in The Good Fight comes to mind.

Yeah, this was my thought as well, so I looked it up. Hybrids are currently 6.1% and EVs are 3.4%:

I was always a fan of Rush’s earlier works, but over time, I have come to appreciate the genius of all their works, except maybe Tai Shan. Moving Pictures is definitely the pinnacle of that stage of the band. Rush is one of the very few bands that I can say I’d be happy to listen to any of their song at any time, even

I am very conflicted about this. On one hand, I absolutely think Disney shouldn’t be giving tons of money (aka Political Speech) to politicians. Also, I don’t think Disney shouldn’t be allowed to run their own local government. That said, I doubt the local county wants to take over what Disney has been doing. The

Probably the car I learned to drive on: 1987 Suzuki Samurai.  The clutch really liked to pop out right at the friction point which made learning to drive stick oh so enjoyable.  All my friends refused to drive it because the clutch was so bad.  My dad had several shops take a look at it, but they all concluded it was

The beef we used in the TBs I worked in from 89-91 was pretty high quality compared to the mostly-not-beef they use these days. Pepsico owned their own cattle farms in western NY and Ohio. The best ground beef from those was destined for corporate-owned stores like I worked in. Franchises didn’t have to buy the good

The only ones worth eating are the Newman’s Own Fig Newmans anyway.

The looks of the 3 and Y are not the problem.  Tesla really needs to work on their human interfaces.  Just terrible.  Don’t get me stared on the yoke steering on the S.

Yeah, the US is at something like 95% of the population with some sort of immunity due to our uneven response.  In the end, this will probably mean fewer surges in infections over time.  The price we paid was the very high number of deaths in the short term.

Yep.  F1TV all the way.  That said, the AppleTV app sucks.  I have to use an old Firestick to watch reliably.

Yeah, I hardly want to drive the back roads of NJ on my way from NC to Maine.

Pickles are the work of the devil.  They do not belong on a burger or anywhere else!

Depends on what kind of service you have now. Some older homes only have 150Amp service. Adding even a L2 charger would limit how many things you could have running at once.  My house has 200A service, and I am considering upgrading to 300A when the time comes to have two vehicles plugged in at the same time.

I finally drove in NYC for the first time last fall after 32 years on the road. While the amount of traffic was horrendous, I was surprised at how most people on the road were actually engaged in the act of driving. Very refreshing. That said, I never want to drive there again. We lost a good three hours on our trip

This.  Every recent large truck has horrible forward visibility.  Their front ends are the equivalent of wonderbras.  They don’t need to be that big.  It is all for show.

Same age here.  I remember lots of debates about the topic, but no actual fights.  The consensus was Vader was telling the truth, but nobody liked it.

Just another excellent show cancelled before it really had a chance.  Are there a lot of ex-FOX execs making these decisions at Netflix?
