Speed limits could be higher if our highways were better and our drivers were both better trained and not glued to their screens while they are actually driving. I actually had hope that autonomous cars would take the wheel away from the oblivious one day, but I now doubt that will ever happen. Keep them where they

I ate Chef Boyardee ravioli well into my 30s.  I would probably still like it, if I allowed myself to eat it.

I have no interest in Teslas. The human factors are horrible, fit and finish is horrible, and reliability is crap. I am much more interested in what a company like Chevy or Ford has to offer.

Neutral: Trump did not make Mexico pay for his pointless wall.

I before E except after C.  Well, there is a C at the beginning, so, you know...

3rd Gear: Apple doesn’t comment on unreleased products.  Whenever they have, it goes poorly.  They will decide when you need to know, when you need to get excited about it, and when you are allowed to pay tribute to their Apple-ness.

I played golf in high school. I found it extremely boring as a sport. Golf courses are an ecological blight as well. All that close-cropped grass takes tons of water and fertilizer to keep green.

I almost got one in 2018 but for bad timing on incentives and a crappy local Chevy dealer who wouldn’t work with me.  I kind of wish I had waited just a bit longer to get a really good deal on one when it was cancelled.

Just commenting to say thank you for the “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” in the title.  I’ve been thinking that in my head for days with respect to Trump.

I have realized my biggest problem with ST:Disco is the character of Michael Burnham.  She is just not a character I understand on any level consistently.  Pretty much everyone else is much better written.  How can a show be this successful when the main protagonist if relatable?

I tend to agree with this review which is a rarity. My wife fell asleep while watching this, and I wasn’t that engaged. The story wasn’t bad, but pacing was off, and the stakes, while portrayed as civilization-ending, somehow didn’t feel that big.  It was as if the only thing big enough to get Diana to emote in a way

Can’t say I’m looking forward to this yob being in F1 next year. Maybe it will make for somewhat entertaining TV with Drive to Survive, but other than that, my new matra is now “Haas sucks.” They sucked before, but now it is personal.

HBOMax isn’t the best by a long shot, but it gets the job done.  Unlike Hulu, which can’t seem to remember where you left off watching, gets stuck in “upgrade loops,” and is soooo illogically organized.  Oh, and some content has unskippable ads at the beginning, even when you pay for the ad-free version.

Neutral: I turn on the lights for a larger portion of the day and enjoy the blessedly cooler temperatures.

Probably still works better than the Jeep brand accessory tent I bought for my 98 XJ, similar to this:

My wife and I watch the show because it actually has real conversations about meaningful topics.  We don’t agree with everything he or anyone else says on his show, and that is ok.  We need more shows like this and 100% less Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN opinion shows (and 200% less OANN).

It is criminal that The Tick was cancelled.

Not surprised Mazda is doing better than average. They make great cars for the price. I AM surprised the American buyer has noticed.

We’ve loved having bird feeders in our back yard for years.  Then I found out how humans feeding birds actually weakened the total bird population because “survival of the fittest” wasn’t happening naturally.  So, we stopped.  We still have plenty of birds, and we have lot less bird crap on our house now.
