If they ever do get around to making a He-Man movie, I do hope they correct one of the things that always bugged me about the show (even as a 6 year old) and cast someone different to play Prince Adam.

Elphaba is going to kick some ass.

“A bad guy with flying monkeys,” deadpans Batman.

Was Keaton confirmed to be a villain? I thought it was just antagonist, which could quite easily be J. Jonah Jameson.

Sure, we can just assume we’re the only advanced species in the universe despite that we’ve only managed to send out messages within a fraction of our own galaxy while there are maybe a couple hundred billion more galaxies. That’s like sneezing in your closet and saying, “no one else on earth has ever sneezed!”

Being far more advanced (in terms of being self-aware and/or being able to develop and use technology) is far more likely, than that we’re the only one.

+1 for the ironic non-clickbait title. Well played!

On the upside, they have got a doll of a female character - a black female character at that. If it’d been Marvel they’d have said there was no demand for Uhura from customers.

This sounds familiar.

All that and her smirk

Chris Pratt’s transformation was the most stark that all that really matters is their acting ability. She would have plenty of time to hit the gym and tone/muscle up.

They can either ignore that or throw in a line about how her grandmother told her about that time she met Steve back in WWII.

No she's way too young. If there’s a place for Chloe Moretz in the MCU, I’d say she’d be good in the new Spidey world. Like Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy. They could then spin her off into a Spider-Gwen or Black Cat franchise.

I don’t understand why so many people think that if she is cast in the role, she’ll suddenly be the one Marvel lead denied access to a gym and personal trainer. You DO remember that Chris Pratt was carrying extra weight when he was cast as Peter Quill, yes?

Most people who’ve heard of Captain Marvel probably think of the DC Character Captain Marvel/Shazam

Let’s be honest who outside of fairly committed Comic book readers had heard of this character before the announcement of this film? Most people who’ve heard of Captain Marvel probably think of the DC Character Captain Marvel/Shazam before they think of Carol Danvers. She’s quite obscure to the layman/ casual fan.

Well actually the “Dark Ages” was a thing that no historian really uses. It was basically an Italian trash talking western Europe because religion and stuff.

Exactly. Star Trek movies are not particularly smart and almost never have been, not after TMP was useful as a soporific.

Trailer looks good to me! I’m there for the third nuTrek with no regrets.

If he gave better advice he could’ve prevented a lot of sh-
