Whoppie dooo. They stuck to the comics as best as possible. And, I really enjoyed not watching a constant fist-fest for 13 episodes, like the previous series. And we did get to see the Iron Fist in costume as well. THAT, was the price of admission right there.

It’s not rocket science. Just have (place any marvel movie character name here) appear in a generic storyline, that needs not reference anything in detail back to the movies at all. Simple.
