As for the BAC thing. I'm dizzy and incoherent after 1 beer. I don't know what my BAC would be at that point but it would probably be pretty darn low. Not everyone metabolizes alcohol the same way.

About the alcohol....

The atheists bigots exist too (albeit in far smaller numbers).

I've never understood the whole "defense of marriage" argument that is levied against same-sex marriages.

Well, while this is old as fuck, this article seems to keep getting new attention, and I think that you made a really good post.

I agree. I just think it's odd that many of them (not necessarily these fellows specifically, I don't know anything about them) will do something typically considered feminine or gay under certain, usually controlled or private circumstances.

There is no particular reason to assume a priori that the intended audience is male - which is exactly where you went.

Entirely possible.

I'm not seeing much in the way of context here...but can we file this under "Straight guys doing Something typically considered really gay, but it's not gay because we're calling it male bonding"?

Nope. The two organizations have nothing to do with one another, and the Girl Scouts are openly pro-LGBT. I don't know if that's always been the case (or for how long), but they're way better than the Boy Scouts.

Good for them. I'm not being sarcastic, really, it sounds like they're doing a good job.

1) TV sucks. Stuff like this is why I watch it so rarely.

True...but how many artists of any color are billionaires?

To the few people in the comments who appear to be confused about Morrissey's statements, or about using "aggressive tactics" to support your pet cause in general:

That's not even real Guinness, y'all.

Filing that under "Things that I wish I did not know about".

I've been calling for a moratorium on zombie stuff for the last year or two. I was a pretty good sport about it for a while, but it's really been overdone.

....Can he get a section on goop?
