Did you read the article?
I support them too because at some level they are victims no matter what they say. I just think its a disgusting industry and Id rather lose a hand than see any of my kids do that shit.
Yeah, ok.
I would be pretty careful about projecting here. I don’t have an opinion either way, but I think it’s never a good idea to make assumptions about the politics of people who practice inscrutability for a living. I think it’s far too easy to see what we want to see and then work backward to find “evidence” to support…
I feel like there have been multiple questions about the whole skin-to-skin thing lately which is very confusing to me. Like, do people really not know that skin-to-skin contact is suggested for babies? I have nieces and nephews, but no children of my own and I’ve known this for years. And if I hadn’t already known,…
He’s like Gumby, only instead of traveling into books, he never read them.
yea, reading your comment you exude nothing but class.
correct. the work of actually being a real celebrity is usually significant, whether it’s learning your trade/plying your trade/carving our success as an actor/model/singer/whatever. Reaching a certain level of success in those incredibly competitive fields is of note.
Probably not, but at least those guests are contributing something immediate and tangible to the hotel’s bottom line. Who’s to say how many of these influencers followers are doing anything more than the virtual equivalent of window shopping?

Agreed! I work in corporate and appropriate footwear to us is enclosed, clean shoes! which means I can wear ballet flats, loafers or mary janes! whatever takes my fancy!
You are wrong. Millions if not billions who continue to be harmed by the British Empire believe that western imperialism should not be celebrated in any way.
Often refused on the grounds that you become a Member/Commander/Dame/Knight of the British Empire, and if you object to the glorification of the British Empire, that’s pretty strong grounds to reject it. In the unlikely event I was ever offered one, I’d refuse it.
What’s cooler: being knighted, or being *offered* knighthood and refusing? I say the latter, because David Bowie and Stephen Hawking.
yes.
Clijsters was 24 when she had her kid and was actively retired when she got pregnant, before coming out of retirement. Serena was actively pregnant while winning a grand slam last year at age 35. Clijsters was over a year removed from being pregnant when she made her return, Serena is in a GS 9 months after giving…
No. Not melanin. Since I said exactly what I meant, that’s a hard one to misinterpret in good faith.
It’s not the same. Serena had a traumatic birth with a c-section that messed with her core strength. She also had blood clots in her lungs that could have killed her (and that reopened her c-section incision). Pulmonary embolisms are no joke, and they are poorly diagnosed, especially in Black mothers.
True, and I think a lot of these types of men are specifically drawn to ‘strong, grounded’ women because breaking down an independent woman is more ego-gratifying than controlling someone who is already easily controllable.
