All drugs have pros and cons. When opiates are contra-indicated diclofenac can be very effective. It’s Rx-Only in the USA, although it can be bought over the counter in some other countries. There’s also a skin gel form that should eliminate the gastointestinal side effects. But the gel isn’t cheap, even in generic.

I’ve been debating using OTC naproxen vs. using prescription diclofenac as a secondary medication for migraine pain, and since I have a family history of heart problems (and I’m overweight, so I’m at higher risk anyway), I think I will definitely switch more to naproxen.

The flight deck is also known as the cockpit.  Usually only the pilot and copilot up there.  And there’s no way they all could NOT have known what was happening, unless one of them was in the bathroom or something.

After making dashi chop up the leftover bonito and kombu and add some fish sauce/soy, sugar, salt....anything really and pan fry until dried out. Sprinkle this over rice or use it as a seasoning on anything else.

They’re delightful super light and whispy flakes of fermented, dried tuna. They have a deeply savory, almost bacon-like taste to them and aren’t overly fishy. I first had them on some butter sauteed edamame and it changed my life.
