Yes, my Sony NEX-5 will shoot in mp4 for the lower rez option and my iPad can play/edit the clips easily. Been thinking about an HDPro (either that or a Contour- for the streaming to smartphone feature mainly), so thanks for the heads up that it will play nice with iOS.
As much as I agree with ya (love using my iPad and phone for photography and video), iOS still has this massive flaw in that you can't import video from a camera via the CCK, much less play it unconverted, or send it to an editor. In fact, the last time I tried (not since upgrading to iOS5), the iPad wouldn't import…
