Every Dune book after God Emperor is at least mediocre, and every Dune book written by Kevin J. Anderson and/or Brian Herbert is downright terrible. If there are going to be TV series, comics, or movies set outside of the first five novels, they ought to do away with everything Brian Herbert and Anderson have written.…

Billy to me feels like he could be a perfect reference to Kiefer Sutherland in “Lost Boys”, just in look and attitude. (I fully recognize that I could be stating the obvious)
They’ve shown they can do it, Steve was a dick for most of season 1 after all.
It would be quite the trick to turn the loathsome Billy into a fan favorite.
That’s the same point it lost me, as I didn’t enjoy Clara, though I liked Capaldi (I do mean to go back and watch the ones after she left someday). I got back into it this season and really glad I did. Several of the episodes joined my favorites of all time.
People who are obsessed w media that they cannot separate it from reality, or construct their entire persona around it, and then take that as some kind of pass to abuse people, are completely devoid of worth.
I just want to take this opportunity to express how much I adore Thirteen and Whittaker’s portrayal of her. Twelve is still my all-time fave, but Thirteen is coming up fast.

Didn’t Katharine trash Star Trek Discovery a lot (even before the show came on) when she was still reviewing for io9?..... I very much AGREE (mistypo) with her in this article, but it seems like there is a very, very fine and complex line between “between real criticism and disingenuous complaints”.
Plus someone who dips in and out of Doctor Who it would strike me as the great thing about being a fan is, don’t like how show is now, great wait a couple years and it will completely change. It’s built in ability to reboot and remake it self should be strength that you would think make fans more chill about changes.

Myst had several novels written that explained the background, how books were written, and so on. There’s actually a massive expanded universe to Myst beyond the games given how old the game is.
A TV adaptation of The Book of Tiana would be so amazing and could easily be stretched to various seasons and even spun off into the Book of Atrus. I really hope something happens, but yeah we’ve seen so many attempts already.

Along with Facebook, all I want is for the people I follow’s posts to be displayed in the order they were posted. That’s all. I don’t even mind if there are ads interspersed between now and again. Just a simple, chronological order.
