In this particular case, there are a LOT of people who are tired of what we’ve got and would be up for some coalition building. There are more people who are moderates, centrists, etc who are increasingly left out in the cold who could get shit done if properly motivated and funded.

35 - I figured you were probably close. I’m finding more like-minded people either skew late GenX or early GenY.

Downside is centrists and moderates are shitty at movements. They used to have a key presence in government so that was ok, but have largely been flushed by polarization and gerrymandering.

It’s terrifying that if this man had just a CURSORY sense of self-awareness he’d probably be elected president.

Leno I get - tonight show money

Was Dean’s tweet actually beamed in by CBSN or do you have some other app that integrates that?

There’s definitely unreasonable fear and xenophobia - no argument there. And I can’t fault you for being reduced to over-simplifying out of pure awe and frustration. I just don’t think that serves the agenda of keeping him out of office.

If you are still a Trump supporter, your highest priority is getting a guy into the WH that will make it possible for you to call a black man the N-word in public.

I can’t star this post enough. Especially this gem of a finishing move

It bugs me this whole thing is coming out this close to a major election. Like a big old, staged distraction.

I am picturing a Melania at the RNC type reception

Don’t underestimate the ability of Ales to direct him into it. He is a reality TV actor after all, “actor” being the opportune word.

What happens when Donald Trump doesn’t do any of these things and instead offers a calm, cool, collected persona and offers nothing inciting but policy positions. It’s the one thing we’re not expecting and it would be the guaranteed way to make sure the media talks about him in a positive way for the 48 hours

What’s tragic about Leno is that in venues outside the Tonight Show (like his car-lovers web series, etc) he’s actually edgy, funny and infinitely more likeable. I wonder why he hid that so well for so long...

Chris O’Dowd was a bright light in a confusing mess. I literally don’t understand how Chris Guest had anything to do with it.

Growing up, we used to do the same thing but with the cargo bed of pickups. They could fill up 3-4 of them and just drive slowly around the neighborhood.

“Lady Mormont speaks harshly. And truly.”

What’s wrong with Afleck? He’s enunciating like he’s drunk or just returned from a botched botox injection.

This current season is so meh...

Now why would you show that Ivan Ooze comparison, and bring that all up again when it’s clear that was production light only and not the character’s final on-screen color???
