I didn’t realize this was a thing, but it makes so much sense. When I ty to shop at exclusively plus retailers, all of the things are super tight in the shoulders, but huge in the boobs. I’ve also got a belly and a big difference between my waist and hip size. I feel like this explains why nothing fits ever

I wish I was surprised, but I grew up in the US very close to Ciudad Juarez and the papers were always full of these terrible things. I’ll never forget the birthday party massacre

My parents inherited my grandpa’s dog. Shortly after my grandparents got her, my grandpa had a freak accident that left him paralyzed for 3 years before he passed and that dog was his greatest comfort. She was my grandmother’s main companion for 2 years after that. My parents had promised to take the dog if anything

I had really early onset anxiety as a kid and I was a bad sleeper because of it. Bedtime was panic attack inducing. Being left alone like parenting books say to do never helped, so I just barely slept until I was about 17 and my depression kicked in. Now I sleep easily and deeply, but only if I have noise and light. I

I loved being alone as a kid and I spent a lot of time that way. Still, I had a terrible time sleeping alone until I was quite old. Being alone and entertaining yourself is one thing; facing the dark and giant “what if” thoughts alone are another

Also: people who chew bubble gum on planes. There is no smell that makes me feel like I’m gonna hurl quite like bubblegum.

I have proportionally small boobs and wide shoulders+big ribcage. My shoulders require me to size up and then the boob area of the thing is saggy and sad. Being a not very busty plus size is a challenge

Yeah, I don’t get why oj is so popular. Who wants to waste calories on juice?! For that amount of sugar+calories, I could be having dessert.

I would really bet it has. As someone who can’t eat avocado (well, I guess I could, but I’d projectile vomit it up in a few minutes) it started being absolutely everywhere a couple of years ago.

Yeah, there’s not a lot to be done about those. I grew up in the middle of a damn desert (landlocked, high elevation) and a little village north of us had a 6 foot deep flood out of nowhere. Its just not possible to plan for every contingency

It has been a while since we’ve been in the news for something nonviolent. Though, I have to say, Clovis is basically Texas.

Yep, I live in a fairly urban, college student heavy area and there are TONS of Pokestops. I visited my parents in their less urban, but fairly affluent neighborhood and there was not a single Pokestop, not even at parks, for ~7-10 miles. The more populated and walkable your area, the more Pokestops

I often wonder about that. How much carbon energy does it take to grow and then ship citrus fruits to a high altitude desert, compared with raising cattle in the same area? I second you with the local and in season thing

All of the cattle land (of which there is a lot) in my state is in the middle of nowhere with only scattered ranches and a highway running through it. That would do absolutely nothing for any of those purposes, except for solar energy

Horses can tell if anything weird is happening on them. Lots of them will respond to their rider turning their head, so being tense from having your boobs flopping around would be easy for them to notice.

I suppose, but I kind of think that basically everything is problematic. I think its more helpful to let kids experience these things and then explain why they are problematic rather than shielding them from so much

I wonder if it all just depends on the child. I was well immersed in Disney and princesses and barbies...but I never actually considered that being a princess was a good thing and all I did with barbies was pose them on my plastic horses. I think if a kid is raised with self confidence and certain values, movies and

Pretty much. I’m pretty sure delivery doesn’t really exist here as a concept except for pizza and like 1 Chinese place.

I live in Albuquerque, though I’m from southern NM. We have low rent and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. We also have a high poverty rate, rampant drugs, and lots of property crime.

I saw Deadpool at 11:30 pm when it came out and there were children everywhere. I could not believe it. Also, I concur on the weekday matinee because its the best time to see a movie
