Is it? Because it’s always been the main thing I’ve heard associated with her. For years, I didn’t even know she was a musician (I’m in my 20’s, so it’s not like I was a part of the grunge scene) because she’d always kind of been referred to as the “druggie slut who killed Cobain”

I think they were two people who fed into each other’s problems. My point was that the lifestyle they shared may have contributed to Cobain’s death, but she wasn’t responsible for what happened to him in the way that the “Courtney killed Kurt!” people always bring up

I never said Courtney was a good person. I’m well aware that she’s done some rather nasty things. I just don’t think she’s evil/a murderer.

I’m not terribly fond of her in all honesty, I just don’t happen to think she’s an evil murderer, which can be a rather unpopular opinion.

I mean, yeah, if you count enabling the serious drug use that exacerbated his mental health issues.

If I’m not mistaken, Nasty Gal runs quite small in size. I’ve known several thin women who struggled to get into some of their clothes.

Courtney Love has been seriously demonized by a certain segment of the population. I find it pretty disgusting, especially how much of it revolves around her looks and sexual reputation.

I am aware. I was responding in reference to the fact that, at least among the people I’ve known, SR&R was much more polarizing than the pre hiatus records. As far as I ever heard, IOH and FAD were fairly universally liked.

I always think of Save Rock and Roll as their most polarizing album, but that’s because it was in my social circle. I kind of stopped paying close attention after that record because I just didn’t get it. I mean, I know they still do big venue tours and their song Immortals was in Big Hero 6, but I had no idea they

Huh. I honestly had no idea. I don’t have cable, so I wouldn’t know about most of those things. To me, they seem very rooted in 2005-2007, but that is apparently wrong

People like what they like. I still retain a certain fondness for that time period, personally. I’m pretty impressed by the longevity of their career

You realize FOB was at the height of their popularity in the mid aughts, just after NSYNC, right?

Their drummer is intense. He’s a soft spoken, vegan, crossfitter. Tbh, the whole band pretty much has their life together, which might be unexpected

Congrats! I suspect that the way a kitten is treated when they’re very small really influences their later personality, so early training is good.

Oh my goodness...thankfully, my cousin never did anything quite like that. But he’s also 3 years older than me and boys are the worst

Toilets are freaking terrifying as a kid. I was pretty sure they were actually portals to hell

I was so scared that my feet did not touch dirt for days. I was absolutely convinced that the worms would come for me

Everything in my adult life would be the typical depressing stuff.

I mean, I never understood why kids got upset when they found out Santa was a concept and not a real person. I found out when I was about 4 as I was reading Readers Digest and just thought, “well, that makes sense. It’s just another silly pleasantry.” I continued to play along with my parents and it was a grand sort

Here in NM, we’ve gotten a lot of lovely moisture, which almost never happens in the winter. We even had light snow in November. This is just what happens in El Niño years.
