Perhaps, but money has nothing to do with how an individual’s body will react. A coverup tattoo (which, again, money and connections makes a difference) is a surer bet, especially on a small new tattoo

Meh, laser removal isn’t such an easy thing. The people I know who have done it say it’s many times more painful than getting a tattoo and it doesn’t always take all of the ink out. There can be scarring too. Plus (for common folks), laser is really, really expensive.

Yes, I suppose. I’m very picky, but I’ve always felt this way. The men I find attractive, I find very, very attractive, but the rest are just...eh.

Yeah, I mean, I find maybe 1 out of every 100 guys decent looking? Even when I do stare at guys, I end up dissecting why I don’t find them attractive

Oh man, it was always my grandma about my weight. I’m broad shouldered, wide hipped, and barrel chested and I don’t get it from that side of the family.

It might partially because I’m socially anxious/agoraphobic and I live in an area that doesn’t get a lot of shows, so if I’m at a concert it’s usually because I’m a diehard fan of the main act. I’ll admit to some exceptions when the main and opening acts are on a pretty level playing field, but listening to some dude

Confession: opening acts are almost always The Worst. I’ve never seen one that was more than passable and many of them have been pretty bad. I don’t want to stand around for hours listening to bands I’m not even into

Yes, redheads I think of as freckley. But I also think of people with darker skin and dark freckles. But I live in a region that is about half Latino, so that may be why.

Yes, that clarifies it. I always thought freckles were a very rare thing, (but apparently they are quite common if this thread can be believed) so I was a bit aghast at the notion that anyone could develop them

I haven’t known many people with freckles, but most of them had darker skin. I think it’s just a weird genetic thing where some people freckle, some tan, and some do both

Yeah, but you’re still a person who gets freckles. Like, some people are able to get freckles and some people aren’t and sun exposure won’t cause a person who doesn’t have freckle genetics to get freckles. This is what I mean

Ah, I see. I can imagine that would do the trick. I live in a high altitude desert, so...most people aren’t very pale even if they wear sunscreen. I lived in Chicago for a bit and everyone was so impressed with my “tan”...that I got while wearing spf 50

See, that’s what I mean. Some people have the ability to freckle but don’t necessarily have freckles unless they spend time in the sun. And then there are people like me who simply don’t have freckles

See, that would be very funny. Do you live in the north where there is less sun? Perhaps I can’t fathom the sun changing someone’s skin so dramatically because it is ever present where I live

Yeah, but...you already have freckles, right? I’ve definitely heard of already freckled people who get more/darker freckles with sun exposure, but OP seems to be implying that most non-freckled people can get freckles with sun exposure and I’m pretty sure that’s not actually a thing.

I always thought people getting freckles in the sun was a myth. I mean, I’m not as vigilant as I should be with sunscreen (i.e. I live in a place with >300 days of sun per year and I forget to wear sunscreen for most of them and I just tan. Everyone I know only burns or tans and the only people who get freckley in the

The animosity between Texas and New Mexico is an old, silly thing spurred by Texas once trying to claim everything east of the Rio Grande as part of Texas. It’s just an old rivalry.

Traveling to AZ is so weird because sometimes its the same time zone as NM and sometimes it isn’t. And I can never remember which half of the year is which

O fair New Mexico, home to approximately half of all plague cases in the US

I mean, a handful of people get it in my state every year. I’ve heard we get more cases then most places actually. It’s not that shocking
